Metin Turan

For Prof. Turan, agriculture is not just a profession; it is a way of life. He has dedicated his life to finding solutions to agricultural challenges and developing innovative products. Before co-founding Kiana, he successfully completed numerous agricultural research and industry projects, published more than 200 scientific articles with over 18,000 citations, and served as an R&D advisor to several agricultural companies.

With more than 30 years of extensive research and field experience in the agricultural sector, Prof. Turan has developed Kiana’s products to address some of the most pressing challenges facing agriculture today, including soil degradation, agricultural pollution, and the impacts of the climate crisis. His scientific expertise and extensive field experience form the foundation of Kiana’s approach to developing practical, science-based solutions for more resilient and sustainable agriculture.
